The Korg D12 features 4-track simultaneous recording and 12 tracks of simultaneous playback in 16-bit mode, or — for truly state-of-the-art tonal perfection — 6-track simultaneous playback in 24-bit mode. Each of the 12 basic tracks allows up to 8 virtual tracks, giving you up to 96 virtual tracks per song! It features auto-input trigger recording, a 16-channel, 4-bus digital mixer, and high-performance balanced pre-amps on all analog inputs. Inputs are balanced TRS jacks with 2 XLR/phone jack inputs and a dedicated guitar input jack. This package includes the CD-RW 1×8 Rewritable Drive. You can save and reload data from a project or archive it for backup or use at a later time. It preserves scene memories, EQ settings, and effects routings. It can also be used to export data in multiple .WAV files and to import them from CD-ROM to use in your songs. You can put an audio CD in the drive and record it directly to tracks in the digital domain using the Korg D-12 to control transport functions.
